Alina Bakhytzhanova received her Bachelor's degree in Medicine at Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, followed by an internship at the Scientific Research Institute of Eye Diseases. She earned a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology from Astana Medical University. From 2005 to 2014, she worked as an ophthalmologist at the Central City Clinical Hospital in Almaty, performing diagnostics and surgeries. She later taught ophthalmology at Astana Medical University. After a family-related stay in the USA from 2016 to 2019, she will resume her role as an assistant at the Department of Ophthalmology at Astana Medical University starting in September 2024. Proficient in Kazakh, Russian, and English, she also holds a higher medical qualification awarded in 2016
