Dr. Zulkhiya Auyesbayeva graduated from the Almaty State Medical Institute in 1990 with a degree in General Medicine. She completed her internship at the Kyzylorda Regional Hospital for one year.
She began her professional career in the city of Baikonur, at the emergency medical station as a physician in the linear brigade, where she worked from 1991 to 1998.
Starting from 1998, after further qualification in Psychiatry at the Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg, she worked as a psychiatrist at the Medical Diagnostic Center under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation at the Baikonur complex.

From 2011 to 2022, she worked as a psychiatrist at the Military Medical Commission of the Russian Federation at the Baikonur complex.
