Dr. Akerke graduated from the Kazakh National Medical University in Almaty in 2021. Following her graduation, she served as a general practitioner at the city polyclinic in Astana while concurrently pursuing her residency in internal medicine at the city hospital. With a breadth of experience in primary care, she has adeptly attended to patients of all ages, spanning from children to adults. In 2023, she successfully completed her residency program and transitioned to the emergency department, honing her expertise in urgent medical interventions. Since November 2023, she has been dedicated to the nephrology department of the hospital, providing specialized care to individuals with kidney-related ailments and those with concurrent medical conditions. Complementing her formal education, Dr. Akerke has diligently pursued additional learning through various online courses in evidence-based medicine, evidence-based internal medicine, and nephrology, ensuring her continuous proficiency in keeping up with evolving medical practices and protocols. Dr. Akerke is fluent in Russian, Kazakh, and English.
